Subject: Being Different?
Content: I'm bring up this topic not to start trouble, but to get opinions. I notice when i go to events for the most part everyone looks the same. I thought riding was about freedom and being a little different. My point is that I was at a bike night the other day and most had the same clothes, helmets etc. with small variations. I wore a vintage 70's 3/4 helmet that is metallic blue with white stripes (original vintage not reproduction) I love the thing, but I got looked at like I was a motard. Do I care NO!! I like to be different. So why does everyone dress the same? My second point is what is with all the windshields? If you want a windshield drive a car. And Yes I do ride on long rides, with 18" Apes. I like being blown back and having to hold on, to me thats what riding a bike is about. These are just my opinions. Don't beat me up too bad.
