...and then some. My husband & I, along with a good friend from Albuquerque, just completed an 11-day trip to our first Bike Week. Amazing rally. We loved it.
Our trip took us from Texas thru the southern-most part of Arkansas into Winona, MS for the nite. In the morning, we picked up the Natchez Trace Parkway & rode it thru Alabama & into Tennessee where we layed over for the nite & met up with a couple more friends who live there. Our next leg was up the Blue Ridge Parkway out of Cherokee, NC to Asheville for the nite. Our final leg to the rally was Asheville to Myrtle Beach, SC to meet another 6 friends who were attending the rally also.
After 5 days of stuffing ourselves with seafood, bar-hopping with 200,000 other bikes & acting like we were 20 again {lol} with a day trip to Charleston in there too - we sadly pointed the hawg towards home.
We came back almost all I-20, other than the "up & over" Hotlanta 'cause there aint nothing to see there ;) We rode Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana & home to Texas. 3150mi R/T for my husband & I and 5200mi R/T for our friend from Albuquerque.
I thought I would share a few pix from the trip. Ya'll tell me if my yammerin & pix bores ya. LOL.
