I have a soft spot for the 70's era Honda's and Kawasaki's because those were my first bikes, But now I ride Harley's
I am the proud Father of three BEAUTIFUL Daughters. And I am Grandfather to seven Wonderful Grandchildren. Three HANDSOME Boys and four BEAUTIFUL Girls. When I'm not working ( I drive a truck for a living.) you can usually find me talking on the cell phone to my twin brother Jim. I love tinkering with and/or riding bikes. I've been riding all my life, and I can't imagine not having a bike around. ( There are Pictures of them in My Gallery :) I enjoy a lot of "Motorcycle oriented" events and going on "Day Trips" or getting away for the weekend to Branson MO. and Eureka Sprgs. Ark.is always a fun time. I do "Biker's for Babies" every year. Kansas City consistantly has the largest Ride of this type in the entire country.last year 8,500 riders raised over $730,000. I have taken some really great roadtrips, One of the best ones so far, was a 9 day, 7 state, 2800 mile tour through Memphis Tn. to see Graceland, Then to Tupalo Ms. to see where "The King" was born, and finally down the "Natchez Trace" to New Orleans and the French Quarter:). My friend "Scotty" and I have also ridden to Anamosa IA. to tour the National Motorcycle Museum. And there was a trip to San Antonio Tx. to see the Alamo ( A VERY MOVING EXPERIENCE ) I went to Milwaukee WI. in 2003 for the 100th anniversary of H-D, ( FANTASTIC TRIP!! And I'm going back for their 105th. in Aug. of 2008, So if You're going to be there, be sure to let me know :) I believe there is NOTHING better than traveling by Bike!!! UNLESS YOU'RE IN AN ACCIDENT, because the Bike ALWAY'S looses!!! I was in a bad one in July of 05, and spent almost six months in a "care facility" going through rehab and learning to walk again. Anyway, I bought another bike 2 weeks after I left the Hospital. A BEAUTIFUL 06 1200 Sportster, ( Nice and light so it doesn't bother my leg. ) and man did it feel great being back on two wheels again! My girlfriend Amy and I have a BEAUTIFUL "Freeroaming North American Belledog"( Basset Hound ) named Belle, and a Sphinx cat named Bobcat,
