I know what you're sayin Bob. Went out to a rally a couple of weeks ago and it was more like a fashion show for the BDSM community, I aint seen that much cow hide since the rodeo. This is Texas in May ,it's all I can do not to strip and go naked( special thanks to all those that did ) but you've gotta be stupid to be running around in full leathers in 90 degree weather.

Wear that can with pride brother, bein yourself is what seperates the men from the boys.

If you dress and act how you want to and to be yourself, you should not care what others think.
Personally, instead of worrying about others laughing at me because Im different, I laugh at all of you because you are the same..

Are you wearing the helmet around after you get off the bike? That might be the reason people stare.

As far as being different, I ride a Triumph. I am shunned by a large percentage of "bikers" because I don't ride an "American Legend."

I have to agree with most everyone else! But, if we all where worried about being diffrent, we wouldn't be on harleys ! Cause everyone has one!!!!

I know what you're talkin about.... But hey who really gives a crap anyway? There's probably 2 reason's why they're staring: 1) They really aren't true riders and are only worried about the "image" or 2) Were in awe of the bike and helmet combo! Either way who gives a crap? Ride that som' Bit*@ with your helmet!
I don't ride with leathers on cuz it's just damn hot... plus my bike has friggin stickers on the tank to cover up the still un-fixed scratches from that lady who wrecked me in Florida. I get looks about that all the time. I really don't give a crap. It's my bike and who I am... I'll probably fix the metal work, re-paint the whole thing, and put some stickers back on it just because that's who I am.... If they don't like it, then I tell 'em don't look at it. Ride on man!!
