Im with ya on that.Love the old thumpers.One lungers are a special breed and I have always had a soft spot for them (really dig the sound).I work in a little shop that does mostley old british and european bikes.I get the chance to ride all kinds of stuff from the older 4 speed thumpers right up to the twins and triples even some newer stuff.Sometimes its hard to remember what foot to shift with.LOL I always seem to get it right.
