Anybody going to Sturgis this year? I will be there Wednesday-Friday. South Dakota Baptist are giving away a new Harley ( 2008 Softail Deluxe, 105 Anniversary Edition) and I will be there with Faith Riders, help them. If you want more information on the give away, I will share it with you. Thought we could have a meet and greet if anyone else was going.
Went for a ride on Saturday, not the best day, but the wife was at a church function and I decided to take a short cold ride. Topped a hill and here was an SUV in my lane, passing a semi on a double yellow line. Fortunately, there was a shoulder on this stretch and enough time to react.
She clipped the front of the semi getting out of the way. She admitted she was on here phone with her children at the time. Semi driver said he knew I was dead, when he first saw me. I thought so to, but God isn’t ready for me yet.
We all walked away, this time. Hope she learned a lesson, she was pretty shaken up.
Another warm wet day here in Indiana. Planned to ride a little today, but just didn’t feel like riding in the rain. 119 Days, 6 Hours, 37 Minutes until the Spring of '08. http://holidays.bfn.org/spring . And yes, I am counting.
Today was a good day to ride. I took a couple of hours off and road to Nashville, Indiana. For those not familiar with Indiana, Nashville is a small artist/tourist town. A pleasant ride from here and the trees are pretty in rolling hills. Fall colors came late this year, but worth the ride. Only 60 miles round trip, but it was a ride.
