Bob and Brenda just discovering the Monster.. Both of us had spent much time on trail bikes in our youth.. I had many trail and several street bikes she had several trail bikes - my first street bike was a Yamaha 400RD (what a quick bike). But marriage and children change our perspectives and priorities.. Motorcycle is sold (1984)..
Fast forward to 2007.. Our 2 children have left the nest. Time to find new hobbies which we both enjoy.. MOTORCYCLES... We started with a 150 Scooter for her.. Gets 70 MPG and does 65 mph.. And a Yamaha 650 Maxim for me.. Of course I had to repaint it with a sparkly green with skulls..
Fun for around town.. But not quite what we wanted.. Next step a Kawasaki 750 Vulcan for her.. Really cool bike which I love and ride often.. But the Yamaha 650 isn't the ideal bike for me.
My wife finds me my ideal bike- a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan.. My favorite bike so far.. (of appr 20 motorcycles).. My home page shows the original paint job (black) with the new paint job (orange and custom) in the pic section..
Looking forward to 2008 with lots of riding including a long trip from Pa to NC..
