Back from Denver.  Had a great time with the grandsons.  Hope you had a good thanksgiving.  Cold and wet here, so I am stuck inside.  Still, I am alive and well.  Going to a welcome home for some of our soldiers today.  Sure is great to see these men being treated better than our generation.

Hey Walt,  Hope you guys have had a good one.  Been at the beach for a few days enjoying some of the grand-kids.  Lot's of food and beverage.  Time to get back to fightin weight.  Diet and the Gym starting tomorrow.

Hope you're doing good.  You and Cyndy, should come to Florida some time.  It's a little cooler than usual now .... but still great riding weather.  Probably in the 70's today and sunny.
Be safe and keep warm.  I'm originally from Indiana and I just don't think I could stand it any more. Up there.... I've got some bad "Arthur" in my joints. Too much rough housing in my younger days..... I can't stand it in Florida when it gets below 50.  This week , it was in the upper 60's most of the week in Naples....and I could't get a lick of sleep...Bad joints...If i'd known that I'd last this long, I'd taken better care of myself.
Take care and thanks for hangin with the Monster...
Dan

Gracious  Loser - no damn way, not this Grunt, Not at the cost of my Country and the Constitution.  Taking a cue from the new "first lady" - For the first time in my adult life,  I'm ashamed of my country.

THE FINAL INSPECTION;

The Soldier stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass.

'Step forward now, Soldier, How shall I deal with you?

Have you always turned the other cheek?

To My Church have you been true?' The soldier squared his shoulders and said, 'No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns, Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny, That wasn't mine to keep... Though I worked a lot of overtime, When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place, Among the people here.. They never wanted me around, Except to calm their fears
If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod.
As the Soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God.
'Step forward now, Soldier, You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell. Amen...
